Snakes get saddled with a lot of phallic symbolism, for obvious reasons, but around here they’re inherently feminine. We stan Medusa in this house - and that Minoan snake goddess, and Eve too, for that matter - but I’ll spare you the TED talk.
This one has some heft! Suitable for use as a closure on a heavyweight leather pouch, or something similarly sturdy, this button has not one but two loops sculpted into the back to allow you to sew it on to your project securely. Measures about 2.5” from nose to tail. Currently only available in bronze, but this piece is made from a production mold of my original sculpt, so white bronze and yellow brass are available upon request. Sterling silver requires prepayment.
